Thomas Sill Foundation

“Thomas Sill built a lasting legacy as a hard worker, educator and astute investor dedicated to his clients and staff. He was an advocate for social responsibility and service to the community.”
The Thomas Sill Foundation was established in 1987 after his passing. When the foundation closed in 2023 the assets were provided to the Winnipeg Foundation to create funds that would carry on Thomas Sill’s legacy of giving
The Boissevain and Morton Foundation are a gracious recipient of one of these yearly grants and received $22,903.32 for the 2025 granting year. The board included this grant money into their undesignated grant pool.

The Basketball Court expansion at Boissevain School, a Parent Advisory Council project, received $20,666.00.

The Boissevain School Band program received $2,237.32 (plus an additional $3,902.56 from the Foundation 2025 undesignated grants).
